HOW WE WORK
MANY PROJECTS. THREE OBJECTIVES.
WHO COMES UP WITH THE PROJECT IDEAS?
Project ideas come from staff and/or students at DCHS. Once reviewed by the Co-Headteachers to ensure they are aligned to the ethos and goals of the school, the proposal is passed on to the trustees for consideration.
HOW DO WE DECIDE WHICH PROJECTS TO SUPPORT?
BOOST trustees consider all project ideas to decide how we can make these projects happen. We aim to support activities which give students a boost and help them to reach their full potential. We work in partnership with the school and we fundraise to make project ideas happen.
WHERE DOES OUR FUNDING COME FROM?
We raise money from fundraising events, donations, Your School Lottery and grants. 15% of our funding last year was from grants and 83% from donations. Every penny we raise enables us to provide more opportunities and experiences for students at DCHS.
A NEW IDEA? LET US KNOW.
If you are a member of staff or a student at DCHS and you have an idea for a project let us know.
