The Open Book Project is distributing 1000 books, bringing authors to Alnwick and aiming to create a buzz about reading in the wider community. The more people read, the more they learn and we want to demonstrate that reading can happen anywhere – not just in school. This project has been supported by local donations and grants from the North Of Tyne Combined Authority and Alnwick Town Council.
